How do customers sign up?
On a sold-out variant, the buy button becomes a “Notify Me” form. The shopper enters their email and joins the waitlist for that variant.
When do they get emailed?
Automatically, as soon as you add stock for that variant in Shopify — everyone waiting is emailed in one go.
Can I export the list of who's waiting?
Yes. Your subscriber list is available to view and export to CSV whenever you like.
Do I use my email tool or Timesact's?
Timesact sends the back-in-stock email for you. If you use a tool like Klaviyo, it reads your Shopify data — and you can export the list to work with it there.
