Is Timesact free to start?
Yes. The Free plan covers unlimited coming-soon and email sign-ups, plus a monthly allowance of presale orders and restock emails — and we never take a percentage of a sale.
How does billing work?
Everything is billed through Shopify and appears on your regular Shopify invoice — Timesact never charges you directly. Recurring and usage-based charges are billed every 30 days in USD.
What's the difference between Flexible and Fixed?
Flexible is usage-based: you pick the monthly order volume you expect and pay for that, with a small amount per order beyond it. Fixed is one price for unlimited orders, with nothing extra per order. If you're running more than about a hundred orders a month, Fixed usually works out lower.
Why does the Fixed price change?
Fixed is priced against the Shopify subscription you're already on, so a store on Basic pays less than a store on Plus. That's why prices read "from" — the table above lists each level, and the Account tab in the app shows yours. Paying yearly brings the monthly figure down further.
What's the difference between CORE and PRO?
CORE is the standard set — pre-order, back-in-stock, coming soon, low stock, deposits and split payments. PRO adds market and location targeting, storewide automatic Low Stock and Back in Stock, charge on fulfillment, and reporting without a 30-day window. You can switch version in the app.
Do I have to be on a paid plan to use the add-on?
No. The $10 add-on pairs with any plan, including Free, or you can buy it on its own. It covers hiding sold-out products and merchant alerts by email and Slack — housekeeping rather than selling, which is why it sits outside the plans.
Are there any transaction fees?
No — we never take a percentage of a sale, on any plan. The only usage-based charge is the per-order amount on Flexible plans once you pass the volume you picked, and that's shown on the plan itself.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes — switch plans anytime from inside the app, and uninstalling stops billing.
