Back in Stock

Sold out today. Sold again the day it lands.

Shoppers put their name down on a sold-out variant, and the moment you add inventory in Shopify, Timesact emails every one of them — per variant, no list to manage, no send button to press.

Email me when it's back

One email, the moment this size is back in stock.

Powered by Timesact

A sold-out variant becomes an email sign-up — no cart, no checkout. That's how notification experiences work.

What you can do

Back in Stock, in detail.

The email sends itself

Add stock in Shopify and the restock email goes out to everyone waiting on that variant. Nothing for you to trigger.

The right size, to the right people

Subscribers are tracked per variant, so restocking one colour or size only emails the shoppers who asked for it.

Your subject line, your words

Write the restock email yourself and drop the product name straight into the subject, so it reads like it came from you.

Turn it on across a collection

Add a whole collection in one go rather than product by product, so nothing sold out gets missed.

See demand before you reorder

Your waiting list shows what shoppers actually want back — export it to CSV any time you need it.

Setup

Live in four steps.

Here's how you set it up. Prefer a hand? Our team will do it with you on a free call.

1

Enable the App Embed

Switch on the Timesact App Embed in your theme — that's the one activation step.

Questions

Back in Stock, answered.

How is this different from Notify Me?
Back in Stock, Notify Me and Waitlist work the same way — a shopper signs up on a sold-out variant and gets emailed when it returns. What differs is the default wording on the button and badge, so you can pick the phrasing that suits the product. Every label is editable, so the defaults are only a starting point.
When exactly does the email go out?
As soon as the variant is back to the stock level you set — one unit by default. Everyone waiting on that variant is emailed, once each.
Can I write the email myself?
Yes — the subject and body are yours. You can include the product name in the subject so each alert names the thing the shopper was waiting for.
Can I switch it on for lots of products at once?
Yes. Add a whole collection in one go instead of setting up each product on its own.
Can I see who's waiting?
Yes. Your subscriber list is there to view, and you can export it to CSV to work with it in your email tools.
