Badge issues
1. My pre-order button is greyed out and cannot be clicked
This usually means that you have no inventory in Shopify and the “continue selling when out of stock” box is unticked for the product variant. Common reasons for the box to be unticked include but are not limited to:
– other Shopify apps have unticked it (usually the case with back in stock apps);
– the Shopify API was not responsive for a long time when the call was made;
– someone from your team disabled it without knowing it would impact the checkout process.

1. Go to the product variant in Shopify
You can click the Shopify icon the the Pre-orders tab in Timesact. See below:
2. Tick the continue selling box
When no inventory is available the box needs to be ticked to permit the checkout.

3. Refresh the product page and see if the button works
It might take a few seconds or a few page refreshes until Shopify operates the changes.
